Position Title
• Write well designed, testable, and efficient code by using good software-development practices
• Interact with delivery leads and team members to understand project requirements
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Develop interactive media, simulations, and other applications to meet client’s needs
• Ensure design consistency with client’s development standards and guidelines
• Maintain professional hygiene by reporting time accurately in a timely manner and adhering to organizational policies and practices
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
Can write clean code in HTML, HTML5, CSS, XML/JSON, JavaScript, and jQuery
• HTML/CSS: Can read, understand, and edit basic HTML structure to manipulate DOM
• JavaScript: Knows the basics of JavaScript/jQuery, can do DOM manipulation, and basic event handling
• XML/JSON: Knows the basics of XML/JSON, can integrate data in XML/JSON files
• Debugging: Knows how to use developer tools present in browsers for debugging and understands the issue using the console; can debug/troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions
• Responsive Designs: Can demonstrate basic knowledge of responsive designs using fluid grids
• Can use English for workplace conversations (in person or on phone)
• Can use English for workplace mails or chats
• Can understand project processes and raise cred flags where necessary verbally or through written communication
• Can effectively discuss daily progress and/or project-related issues with team lead verbally or through written communication
• Can listen and comprehend context, meaning, and implications of spoken language
• Can understand and follow standards and checklists for all deliverables
• Demonstrates openness to learn new processes and technology as required for new clients
• Can work with cross-functional teams in a seamless manner, while keeping in mind corresponding templates and processes
