About the Program
As an instructional designer, you have the power to impact organizational results by designing learning experiences that give participants the knowledge and skills required to perform their jobs well. To be an effective instructional designer, you need a structured, step-by-step design process that you can rely upon to create outcome-based training.
In this Instructional Design Certificate course, you'll learn about the approaches, design models, and tools you need to create impactful learning events. The program consists of 9 modules that address all aspects of the instructional design process in detail, including assessing organizational needs, designing the learning experience, developing materials, and evaluating effectiveness—giving you a comprehensive playbook for how to create effective training programs. As you go through the course, you'll have the opportunity to practice each step of the design process—receiving guidance and feedback along the way.

Seema Nagrath-Menon is the Managing Director & Founder of CALM Worldwide (Center for Action in Learning Management), a professional and dynamic Management & Learning Consultancy.
Seema is a Talent Development Architect, ATD Expert Master Facilitator, Emotional Intelligence Specialist, Marshall Goldsmith SC Leadership Coach & International Speaker based in Dubai. As a Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD®) and a qualified COTU-BPS (Level A & B) from Cambridge University, she has been working internationally in the fields of leadership development, learning strategy, instructional design and emotional intelligence for 20+ years. She is an expert in the Neuroscience of Learning and has trained as a Leadership and Emotional Intelligence specialist, at Yale University and Case Western Reserve University.
Her principal area of experience and expertise has been in designing and delivery of interactive and innovative developmental learning programs, aimed at facilitating the enhancement of targeted skills in her clientele globally. Using her cross-cultural international business exposure to add value and positively influence the life of her clients in global business she has coached executives and leaders for peak performance and worked with major organizations in Europe, Asia, Middle East and all-over North America.
